Inserso Awarded $82M Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Support Contract from the US Army Medical Command

VIENNA, VA April 25, 2013 – Inserso Corporation was awarded a prime contract to provide technical support to the US Army Medical Information Technology Center (USAMITC) Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) for the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) enterprise. The contract has a base period and four optional periods with the maximum amount of $82M over its lifecycle.

The Inserso team will provide service 24 hours, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year to support over 84,000 MEDCOM end-users and 5,000 Joint users located at 38 Medical Treatment Facilities and 21 other facilities around the world. Technical support is provided for troubleshooting hardware problems, network issues, servers, operating systems (Microsoft), enterprise applications/software, and monitoring network connectivity, Active Directory and Exchange system performance.
