Inserso receives Virginia DBE and SWaM Certification
Annandale, VA – August 1st, 2007 - Inserso, an award-winning provider of application development and IT Staff Augmentation services to the federal government and Fortune 1000, today announced that it has been approved as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprises (VAMBE). The DBE award program provides small businesses with the opportunity to compete fairly for contracts in the transportation sector that are financed by the Department of Transportation (DOT) through Federal funds.
In addition to the DBE certification, Inserso also received its certification as a Small, Women and Minority-Owned (SWaM) Business. The SWaM certification program is administered by the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE) and is the Commonwealth of Virginia’s effort to help small, women- and minority-owned businesses with doing business with state government entities.
